I See You Spring

By | May 20, 2019

There’s a lilac plant that we pass on our way to and from school every day. (At least that’s what I think this plant is 🤔) Today, we could smell it. The sun was so bright, my daughter couldn’t open her eyes for a picture. So, I said, just keep them closed and feel the sun. Fall has always been my favorite season. Maybe for fashion reasons. I love to layer and rock different 🧥 jackets with certain outfits. I love the cool breeze and busy attitude of fall. It’s like: “thanks summer…been fun…now it’s time for work.” This past winter, I dealt with something I hadn’t ever before: seasonal depression. Seriously, just dealing with the gloomy skies and fierce cold for so long, I was in a BAD mood. But beyond that, I woke up without motivation to do much of anything. Maybe you have experienced the same? If so, let me know. I’d love for us to know we aren’t alone. So after this past winter, #polarvortex and all, spring is HERE, and I’m loving her. She might be my new favorite. 🌸 (shhhh, don’t tell fall) #spring#seasons#chicago#may#mentalhealthawarenessmonth#depression#seasonal#moms#momwinning#follow#comment#like#connect#tellmesomethinggood#kids#picture#cute#love#daughters
